ABOUT ME

being a videomaker means keeping your eyes and ears wide open, being curious and feeling the need to tell

The beginning

I was born in Saltara, in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, in 1982 and since 2012 I have lived in Perugia with my partner Giulia and our daughter Sole. After graduating in Communication Sciences at the ‘Carlo Bo’ University of Urbino in 2006, I started working as a videomaker, turning my passion for images into a profession.

weddings

Over the years I have found my ideal dimension in the world of weddings: a wedding is a continuous intertwining of emotions, expectations and surprises, a story that begins with the preparations and culminates in the party.

Creating a wedding film means condensing the intensity of an entire day into a few minutes, finding the right balance between aesthetics, narration and emotion.

I work spontaneously, naturally and discreetly, letting events unfold without forcing, to capture the true essence of the moment. It is a job that requires an eye, sensitivity, creativity and a deep ability to listen. Every couple has a unique story and my goal is to transform it into images that last over time.

personal projects

Alongside the wedding, I continue to cultivate my passion for cinema, making documentaries, short films and feature films. Curiosity towards human beings and their stories is what drives me to tell, whether through a couple’s big day or through a film.

Among my works, the documentary Amori received first prize as Best Documentary at the Marseille International Documentary Award, an award that further strengthened my belief: stories, when told with authenticity, have the power to excite and leave a mark.

In addition to my work as a videomaker, I teach video shooting and editing at the Istituto Italiano Design in Perugia, where I pass on to my students my passion for the language of images and the power of visual narration.
